Alex Ochoa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the California State University of Fullerton, with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. He earned certifications as an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Movement Screen Specialist, USA Weightlifting Performance Coach, and USA Track and Field Coach. Currently, Alex is enrolled in Southern California University of Health Sciences and is nearing the end of his doctorate education and will soon become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Alex also has 6.5 years of military experience in the U.S Army. He was part of the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) 25th Infantry Division, as well as a part of the only Arctic Airborne Field Artillery Unit in the world. As a member of the U.S Army, he was able to learn firsthand how the body is able to adapt to different situations. For that reason, he is a big believer that in order to live well, you have to move well.
Alex has applied his passion for movement and performance to working with athletes of all levels. His experience with rotational training has allowed him to work with travel baseball programs in Orange County, MLB, and NPF. After graduating from CSUF, Alex had an opportunity to work at a Sports Medicine Facility where he was able to work with collegiate athletes, firefighters, and professional athletes from MLS NBA, and NFL. He assisted in one NBA Combine and two NFL Combine Prep Training programs.
Alex’s performance training services are geared toward providing the edge necessary to move pain-free, by prioritizing quality of movement over quantity of exercise, in order to develop movement ability. He works with top-performing professional and amateur athletes across multiple sports and has been able to define and create an integrated approach for developing superior performance. His focus is on identifying deficiencies that limit potential performance and eliminating them to enable the maximum capability.
Alex looks forward to being part of your health and wellness journey.
